Mr. Yirikian’s U.S. tour will include visits to Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles in addition to his appearance in Washington, DC.

Jennifer Morris, Coordinator of Youth Outreach for the Diocese of the Armenian Church (Eastern) will be worshipping with our community this week. Jennifer joined the Diocesan staff in 2005, though her involvement in the Armenian Church began as an ACYOA Junior and Senior in her home parish of St. John Church of Southfield, MI. She served on the ACYOA Central Council for four years as the treasurer and then chairperson. She traveled on the Diocesan pilgrimage in 2000 to Jerusalem and to Armenia in both 2001 and 2004. In her current position, she is responsible for overseeing the Diocesan Summer Camp Programs – St. Vartan Camp and Hye Camp, as well as working with the ACYOA Juniors and their youth advisors.

The Couples Ministry of St. Mary will be hosting a Winter Clothing drive for the Friendship House of Washington, DC. Please donate coats, socks, toiletries and other winter goods to this important community charity. There will be boxes in the Church hall for donations and on Jan. 30, packages will be put together and a representa-tive from Friendship House will be on hand to share about community service opportunities.
