Shnorhali School

Dear parents, students and community,

It is a pleasure to welcome each of you to this new Academic Year 2011-2012 of the Shnorhali Armenian School of St. Mary Armenian Church.

Our mission at Shnorhali Armenian School is to instil and teach the love of God, pride in our Armenian language, national identity and culture, in order to help our children and families live authentic Armenian Christian lives and become active members of Armenian Church community.

As always, we aim to give our children the best education in the spirit of the Armenian culture and religion. Being far away from the motherland and having centuries old language, history and religion, we need to do our best for new generations to bear the torch that our forefathers kept alive and passed to us throughout centuries.

In the spirit of our mission, this year we will focus on strengthening Shnorhali School through functional committees in Religion, Armenian Language & Culture, PTA, Lunch and Events. We would like to encourage all the parents to become actively involved in those committees and help our school with various activities organized for our children. We believe each of you will find a way to take part in this important process!

The Shnorhali School principal, teachers, staff, the Parish Council of St. Mary and Rev. Father Hovsep Karapetyan, Pastor urge you to register your children to the Shnorhali Armenian School and play an active role in advancement of our children’s identity and improvement of our school and the church.

Best wishes for an enjoyable, productive, and successful school year!

We look forward to working with all of you,

Rev. Father Hovsep Karapetyan, Pastor
Anna Hakobyan, Shnorhali Armenian School Principal
