Special Tour to the Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens

On June 29, by the incentive and invitation of the St. Mary Church Ararat Avak Society, a group of women from St. Mary and Soorp Khatch Churches and the Armenian Embassy representatives visited Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens. 

Everyone enjoyed the guided tour arranged by Louisa Baghdasarian and delicious luncheon prepared by Avak Socity committee members Takuhi Hallajian, Mari Shafakian and Eva Shafakian, supported be Clara Andonian and Margie Satian.

Hillwood remains Marjorie Post's most important legacy, and the artistry of its collections, beauty of its gardens, and graciousness of its founder continues to inspire. Hillwood today is vibrant with special exhibitions, programs and events, and gardens displays. 

We spent a wonderful Saturday in this oasis in the heart of the nations capital.
