To request a Hokehankist Service for your loved one(s), kindly fill in the areas below so that we can include them in our Church Bulletin and E-Newsletter.

Please Note:

-To request a Hokehankist/Requiem Service, please submit the form by 12:00 (noon) Thursday.

-Arrangements for Requiem Service, Altar Flowers, and Candles should be made through the church office by 12:00 (noon) Thursday.

-For Hospitality Table- in addition to food/dessert, the following items are required for the Hokehankist Hospitality table:  coffee, cups, milk, plates, plastic forks, knives, spoons. These are to be provided by the family requesting the service.
Donation to the Church – when making a donation to the church, you may mail a check to the Church Office at St. Mary Armenian Church, 4125 Fessenden St., NW, Washington, DC 20016, or give the donation directly to a Parish Council Member after the Badarak.

** It is a pious tradition in the Armenian Church for the family requesting Hokehankist to arrive towards the beginning of the service in order to kiss the Holy Bible before the mid-day reading.
 

-In accordance with the canons of the Armenian Church, Requiem Services may not be performed on the following five major feast days: Armenian Christmas, Easter, The Feast of the Transfiguration, The Feast of the Assumption of the Mother of God, and The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
